Reservations
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations made with the hotel directly can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. For reservations made through a third party website please refer to their cancellation policy.
When is the payment taken?
The hotel pre-authorises the credit card on the day prior to your arrival. Should the credit card be declined or expired, reservation may be cancelled without further notice. If you have chosen to secure your reservation with a debit card instead of a credit card, we cannot process a pre-authorisation and a payment will be taken instead. You may still choose to pay with a different card or cash on check-in, in which case the payment taken from the card used to secure your reservation will be refunded. In case of a cash, virtual card or debit card payment, refundable security deposit of €200 per room will be required. Deposit will be refunded following a room inspection on departure. Valid photo ID is required for each person staying in the room. The minimum age for check-in is 23.
Can i book a room without credit or debit card?
No, card details are required to secure the booking. Credit card pre-authorisation is required to check-in.
Do you charge a booking fee?
No, if the booking is made on our website directly there is no booking fee
Do you accept cash payments?
Yes. Please note that in case of a cash payment, debit card payment or virtual card payment, refundable security deposit of €200 per room may be required. Deposit will be refunded following a room inspection on your departure. Deposit is not required if credit card authorisation is provided on check-in.
Can I pay for my room in advance of arrival?
Yes, please contact us on info@metrohoteldublin.com and we will email you the credit card authorisation form. Once the form is completed and returned to us, we will charge the card provided.
I have a reservation made through a third party website, can you change or cancel it for me?
No, if your booking is made on a different website, please contact them directly.

Check-in is anytime after 3pm, early check-in is subject to availability and an additional fee
Can I drop off my luggage at the hotel early morning and come back to check-in later?
Yes, we can keep your luggage with us at reception on the day of your arrival until the check-in time

Check-out is at 12 noon, late check-out is subject to availability and an additional fee

Is there a fridge and a microwave in the bedroom?
There is a fridge and a microwave in King Suites only
Do you have any smoking rooms?
All rooms at Metro Hotel Dublin Airport are strictly non-smoking
What is the bedding in a Triple room?
Triple room can have either one king size bed and one single bed, or three single beds. Please specify your preference when making a booking. For more information please click here.

Apartments
How many people can stay in your Two Bedroom Apartments?
Our Two Bedroom Apartments have two double bedrooms and can therefore accommodate up to four adults
What facilities are available in your Two Bedroom Apartment?
The apartments include two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious sitting room and a large balcony with panoramic views over Dublin. For full list of facilites, please see here
Are your apartments available for long stays?

Do I need to pay a deposit to stay in an apartments?
Credit card authorisation of a €1,000 is required to check into a Two Bedroom Apartment. If a credit card is not available, a refundable deposit of €1,000 may be accepted. Deposit is refunded following apartment inspection after departure.
Bar & restaurant
What time do you serve breakfast?
Monday-Friday 7am-10am, Saturday & Sunday 7am-10:30am
What are the restaurant opening hours?
Breakfast is served from 7am until 10am Monday to Friday, and from 7am until 10.30am on Saturdays and Sundays. Bar food is available in the lounge from 3pm and the restaurant is open for dinner from 5pm until 10pm
What are the bar opening hours?
The bar is open until 23:00
Do you have a residents' bar?
No, we do not have a residents' bar.
Do you have any function rooms?
No, unfortunately we do not have any function rooms but we are happy to book an area of our bar or restaurant for you, should that meet your requirements. For more information please contact us on info@metrohoteldublin.com

- From O’Connell Bridge drive straight until you reach the end of O’Connell Street
- Turn left onto Parnell Street continuing forward onto St Marys Place North
- At the traffic lights turn left onto Phibsborough Road/R108
- Take right hand lane then turn right onto Prospect Avenue/R108
- Turn left onto Botanic Road/R108
- At the traffic lights turn right onto Ballymun Road/R108
- As you approach, you will see Metro Hotel Dublin Airport on your right hand side.Turn right at the traffic lights just after the hotel, and then take the next right into the Metro Hotel Dublin Aiport set down area
How do I get to you from Dublin Airport when driving?
- On leaving Dublin Airport follow the signs for the M1, stay in the left hand lane.
- Follow signs for M50 southbound
- Continue on the M50 southbound until you reach the Ballymun Exit (Junction 4)
- Take exit 4, and follow the signs for Ballymun.
- Take the left turn at the traffic lights after the Topaz petrol station, and then right into the Metro Hotel Dublin Airport set down area
